i hold a widescreen toshiba 15.4 laptop, an old LG Flatron 915FT+ 19 computer monitor and hold been looking at the up-to-the-minute LG 20.1 widescreen LCD. What would be the different screen dimensions? Would it be worth my coin to shell out for the LCD?
Answer:
I use a Viewsonic 20.1 far-reaching on my daily use box and man it is nice after adjectives those years of big bulky CRT's. If you are looking for everyday use... it is a good LCD for the $$. 20.1 is roughly 15 wide and 11 elevated actual viewable area. looks great @ 1280X1024
Personally If it be me, I wouldn't replace the monitor until it goes up... I am still using one and the same monitor for the past 10 years.
The 19 monitor probably lone has around 18 of viewable photograph size (probably somewhere between 17.9 and 18.1) because of the tube. When you buy a flatscreen, you get the exact size as advertise, so it will probably be roughly 2 inches bigger. 2 inches makes reasonably a difference...when I upgraded from a 17 to a 19 it was markedly noticeable. If you enjoy the cash and want to free up some desk space, travel ahead.
