Putting a picture on eyeshade?

I am on Vista home serious (not sure I like it yet) and want to put a picture on peak as a background whenever I switch on. Can anyone bestow me the idiots guide how to do it please. Cheers

Answer:

Right click on the picture you want to use.

Select Set As Desktop Bground
That depends on your BIOS. Right now, a step-by-step isn't possible as you haven't provided information on your BIOS.

For example, modern Asus motherboards come beside software to reflash your BIOS to enable a custom picture that will appear as soon as you switch on.
You requirement to have save a picture in 'my pictures first.

if you haven't done this, connect your device to the computer. it will automaticcaly start the process for you.

Choose to liberate pictures to your computer.

Go into pictures saved surrounded by comp then choose your picture, right click beside mouse and you should have risk to set as desktop or something.
Trial and error! I've got alike problem. I half manage it - chopped the picture in partly and only get the rubbish bit showing! Go into Windows Photo Gallery and if you have a pic on here you want to use right click it and it will give you some option, you can then select as desktop environment. That's what I did anyway. Hope you have better luck than me.
Remember that Windows can lone use photos of a certain size; if they are too big it can't shrink them. So breed a copy and resize it to use as your background. It desires to be about 1024 x 768 pixels huge and tall.

You can do that next to Paint or Irfanview (in XP.)

Windows XP stores desktop images surrounded by C\Windows\Web\Wallpaper; put the copy in nearby and you wont delete it accidentally.
