My monitor cant power on. even though at hand is power run to the monitor n the power button is contained by solid amber?

Either the monitor is bleak or your computer is.



Unplug the monitor from the computer. If it does the same piece, then you know the monitor is bleak. If you get some type of 'test' screen or any manuscript at all on the blind, then you know it is your computer.

some monitors dont respond unless they know of some sort of input background coming to them.

Is the monitor plugged into a computer? some wont power on untill plugged into a computer and the computer is turned on but will display a amber light. Iff so after your pc have a problem, alot of people will atomatically read aloud its the graphics card due to it being display related but i find most blank blind problems are caused by fried motherboards. Open after pc up isolate everything from the motherboard and turn it on iff the monitor still wont turn on consult your instruction manual to find the CMOS jumpers and move them to the clear position for a few second and boot back up, iff it still dont turn on you obligation a new motherboard
