I hold an older IBM 300PL ( PIII, 728 mhz, 256 Mb RAM) near an AGP number nine SR9 video card that has a DVI connector, originally I have an analog monitor with an adapter, very soon i got a Gateway FPD1500 near DVI connector only, I connected to the video card within my PC but does not happen nil I can't see nothing. The FPD1500 it's contained by good working writ since i tested in a newer PC near both DVI and analog output and works great. What can be happen??
Answer:
'Googling' brought up the IBM 300PL, showed it's system isn't skilful of handling digital video output, or converting it through a DVI-I/VGA card. You were competent to use the VGA analog side of the card, for your analog monitor.
The graphics card is probably faulty. Try getting a exotic one.
There in lyes the problem...the analog card is not compatible next to the DVI Digital input...you need to enjoy a graphics card with a DVI output & I don't dream up your current setup can handle a card beside DVI at all...Take the monitor wager on or buy a new computer to turn with the unsullied monitor...or get a monitor that have a analog input...
