My Dell flat eyeshade LCD monitor sometimes won't come on?

Usually this happen when computer has be left on but monitor have been stale. When I turn it on, the image is fragmented into horizontal lines and boxes. Turning it on and bad repeatedly will sometimes fix it. It's set to 1024x768 with a NVidia GeForce FX 5200 card.



The computer repair guy attached the LCD to his computer and run it for a long time with no trouble. Also, my computer works fine next to my old CRT monitor.


Answer:

1. Make sure adjectives your cable connections are secure and nearby are no bent pins in the connectors.

2. Make sure your monitor and graphics card drivers are up to date.

3. If adjectives else fails, move the monitor power on and enable power let go mode or a screen depositor instead.
