Use a soft cotton cloth, and by adjectives means never use an alcohol or ammonia base product. Many stores sell cleaning fluids specifially for LCD and Plasma displays. I individually use Endust for electronics. Works great after dusting. Wipes away any smudges
a damp washcloth and later wipe down with a dry one.
My FPD 1950 monitor book say to use a damp cloth,(read DAMP!), and don't press too frozen.
