What is a pci card?

and would this give a hand me if my monitor port is not working?

but for, what would help?

Answer:

Congratulations to the copy and mash user above me, PCI card could be any type of card, i assume that your talking in the region of the pci graphic card, its a card that you simple plug into your pci slot, most cases it will be white and closer the the bottom of the mother board, and you hook up your monitor cable to it and fire it up and download the drivers that come with the cd and restart and your set.
PCI ( divergent component interconnect) You're computer more than likely have 2 or more unless it's very mature which then you'd enjoy ISA. They are long slots that run perpindicular to the rear of the computer for installing nouns cards, NIC's, modems, et. al.

If your onboard graphics has gone bleak on you and you don't have AGP, a graphics card next to a PCI interface can be purchased. However, if you have AGP, opt for that since the verbs rate is 2x that of PCI.

Don't make the mistake of purchasing a PCI-e card if your system can't knob it. I'm assuming your computer is older and not PCI-e compliant.
