When using a dual monitor set up...?

how do you share whether or not your computer can support a dual monitor set up? Also, is it possible to use a laptop as a second monitor in a dual monitor set up?

Answer:

Can it support dual monitor?

Does the video card own a dual video connector? If you can't connect two videos thenm it doesn't concern... you can't have two monitors.

If the peak setup window shows two monitors (even if one is greyed out) and you own 2 video ports (or a laptop with 1 video port) afterwards you can use dual monitors.

You can't use a laptop as a second screen. It's video OUT not video IN.
it depends on graphics card whether it supports two outputs, any that or you can get another graphics of matching manufacturer (preferably) and attach it into your laptop..

as for the 2nd question, you can simply use it the other way around..
