What is the most imagined impose of color shifts and speedy tint change on a 14 year old-fashioned CRT computer monitor?

Is this lately age or are there ways to control the CRT's color output bar going to display and changing the color power & res? No color knobs at the wager on. Would this be more likely to be a Nivida video card output problem or other hardware?

Answer:

Chances are it is probably the monitor itself. I have a 17CRt in the workshop and it be fading in/out and it finally go out and had to capture another one hooked up.THanks
Dodgy connection, probably. Could be ageing too.
I guess it is age.

The only approach to test the Nivida card is to use another monitor..
A monitor that age is clearly going to show signs of wear, and your is showing it. The realistic vivacity of a monitor is about 5 years, I would suggest getting a replacement.
the monitor plausible has done its work time for a new one
