What is a bit?

Answer:

Im not sure, I will tolerate you know in a bit though.
A bit is a binary digit, the smallest increment of information on a computer. A bit can hold only one of two values: 0 or 1, corresponding to the electrical values of rotten or on, respectively.
oops you are right. 4 bits are a nybble, 8 bits are a byte!

I should pay more attention within class lol
Actually, 4 bits are a nybble (pronounced nibble). 8 bits are a byte.
a bit is smallest unit that can hold a information,

it can ne either 1 0r 0

contained by circuits 1 indicares ON and 0 indicates off

surrounded by OMPUTER SCIENCE AND LOGICAL CIRCUITS various opoerations can be perform whch are bitwise, examlpe AND OR XOR etc

8 bits make byte
An on or bad binary state, the machine rank language of 0's and 1's. 8 bits surrounded by a byte. 1024 bytes is a kilobyte. Then mega, giga, tera, peta, exa, zetta, yotta, etc...
in shrt -Bit is a single digit contained by the binary system, the smallest unit of computer information.
Its a height of memory (bytes).
0 & 1 are the only two bits of binary system. similar to we have stub 10 & decimals & digits in decimal system, we hold base 2, 2 digits & bits contained by binary system
