The color is kinda dim, I tried varying the color but nothing happen and it's constantly freezing on me. This started happening resembling two days ago after my brother was on it.

Thank your brother. Then chew over twice about letting him use it aagai. He be probably playing a game and it blew out the driver or he be downloading special pictures. He should at least have the honesty to let you know you have a problem. Don't worry, adjectives youre going to have to do is reload the vid driver and exclusion your brother from your computer

try checking the cable is securly connected to the video card and the monitor.

Do u have buttons for contrast/Brightness on front of your monitor , Just check them out and adjust as u want
