Why is my LCD slow?

During gaming , my LCD is much slower than my CRT

If I am going to use this near a better video card, will it make it work faster?

Answer:

The response time will be the biggest contributer to this. Check to make sure it's at most minuscule 6ms or lower, if it is, then check for any available drivers from the capitalist.

refresh rate = response time
What resolution are you running your LCD on? If you're running twice the resolution on your LCD that you are on your CRT, afterwards it will be slower. Also, check your response time. That tells you how vigorous your monitor is able to formulate a picture as it comes out. (8ms is around average)
Lcd's are by nature slower but you should be capable of get it to work. A better video card could comfort but like previously stated if the monitors response time and rejuvenate rate aren't that good you're probably stuck.
