resolutiion is track more important than contrast ratio. All latest moniters have a rly high-ranking contrast ration lile 10000000:1, it does not rly matter though. Get a moniter near a high resulution, but generate sure ur graphics card can take it. If u enjoy a dedicated card afterwards dont worry. Look at dell moniters. They are not very expensice, and u gain a lot 4 the money look at the 20-24 inch lcd moniters
I would unequivocally agree with jgreenwood7889 on this one resolution is more defining in you monitor than contrast.
