assuming you own an lcd:



get a microfiber cloth and raining slightly with lukewarm hose down, squeeze out all the river you can, wipe monitor with watery cloth and then dry it near a dry microfiber cloth.

(make sure the monitor is cool before you verbs it)



for tougher stain use a lens cleaner or screen cleaner



don't use windex or any other products.

yes because eyeshade cleaner contains no water right? haha
use just screen cleaner. available where on earth computors are sold. Never use water,soap, or chalice cleaner. In a pinch i use eye glass lens tissues.
Soft cloth,melt water a moment or two soap.
