Why does a bright wan vertical smudge appear on my computer peak?

This singular happens when my computer have been on for awhile.

I suspect the GPU on your video card is overheating. Check the disciple (if it has one) or fry sink to make sure it's not too clogged near dust and make sure in that aren't any cables contained by the way.
